What we shipped,
and when.
A running record of what changed in the workspace. Features only, once they are live.
August 2026
Editor and reading tools
- Outline navigation — the sidebar builds a live outline from your headings and scrolls to any section.
- Find and replace inside a draft, with match counts and keyboard shortcuts.
- Style statistics — sentence length, adverb density, passive voice and reading ease, computed in your browser and costing no AI tokens.
- Read aloud with the sentence being spoken highlighted in the draft.
- Typewriter mode that keeps the current line centred, and word goals with a session counter.
- Clean paste — text pasted from a PDF or web page keeps structure and drops the formatting junk.
AI operations
- Editorial report — a full structural read of a whole manuscript.
- Title ideas — twelve options in three registers with a recommendation.
- Expand to a target length, so a section can be grown to a size you choose.
- Diff preview before replacing — every AI replacement is shown as a word-level difference, with a version saved automatically first.
- Audio narration — a passage read in a studio voice you can play or download.
- Ask your sources from the editor, with page citations in the answer.
Projects and collaboration
- Project history — a timeline of everything that happened in a project, including AI operations.
- Compare any two versions, not just a version against the current draft.
- Document templates — start from an essay, chapter, article pitch, or research memo.
- Writing streaks and a 14-day activity graph on the dashboard, with a weekly summary email.
- Project deletion from the dashboard, removing notes, sources, versions and generated files.
Site and library
- The Field Guide was rebuilt — every guide now carries a worked before-and-after example, common mistakes, a checklist, defined terms, and answered questions.
- New pages — document templates, audience pages, an approach comparison, partner resources, and this changelog.
- Faster pages — fonts preconnected, stylesheets trimmed on marketing pages, and static assets cached properly.
How this page works
Entries appear here once a feature is live for everyone, not when it is planned. If something you rely on changed and it is not listed, tell us at [email protected] and we will add it.
Guides in the Field Guide carry their own published and updated dates, so you can see how current a method is without checking here.
Common questions
Do you announce features before they ship?
+
No. This page records what is already live for every account. It is a record rather than a roadmap.
How do I know if a guide has been updated?
+
Every guide shows a published date and a last-updated date in its byline, and the sitemap carries the same dates.
